    The flavor of the dish is great, and not hard to make, but the prep time is extremely underestimated. I am a very experienced cook and baker, and I would say that the prep time is closer to 45 minutes rather than 10.

    I am Italian and make everything homemade. Everyone loved this recipe. It is delicious and easy to do.

    Very good summer recipe for all that extra eggplant in your garden. I find it is even good with ground turkey for a lighter version.

    This recipe is both easy and delicious. Even my son loved it, and he doesn't eat eggplant!It also presents beautifully.

    We changed it up a little using Buffalo meat instead of Beef.

    Quite time-consuming to prepare, with all of the chopping, but with delicious results. I make it with ground turkey breast. Recipe makes plenty of filling. Love it!

    I've never cooked with eggplant before so I thought this would be perfect to try. It was so good and a great way to give your family something different to try for dinner. I especially loved all the fresh herb taste from the parsley and basil.

    I loved it. I thought it looked a little dry so during the cooking time I drizziled some evoo over the top and some garlic powder. I thought it gave the top a little crust and I served it with toasted garlic bread.
