The turkey soup is delicious. I added frozen soup vegetables and leftover brocolli and wild rice from my refrigerator. My family loved it also. I'll make this again!

Wow, this was amazing! We made it from a turkey carcass that had been brined, and the flavor was very rich. My son said it was the best soup he ever had. Like other readers who used a brined turkey, I didn't add any salt. I didn't have mashed potatoes, so cut up some fingerling potatoes and sauteed them with the onions, carrots, and celery. Will definitely make this again!

i didnt have leftover vegetables as i bought a turkey breast specifically to have my own 'turkey dinner' and soup (family had the stomach flu over thanksgiving so there were no shared leftovers. I added zucchini and 'ave maria' pasta and it was just like my grandmothers.

It tastes like Thanksgiving in a bite and it is so easy! I used left over green beans and mashed sweet potatoes. I was skeptical about the sweet potatoes but they really made it thick and creamy. I added rice too but next time I think I'd leave that out.

I have to say I was very leary about adding the sweet potatoes, but they really add a great bit of sweet to this soup.I doubled all ingrediants because my family loves soup.I also cooked in a seperate broth fine egg noodles which I placed on the bottom of the bowl and poured the soup over it. I had leftover asparagus and mushrooms which added good colors to a already fantastic meal.
I will be making this many times this winter. Anyone who is thinking of making this, go ahead you will be very pleased.

This was heavenly. I made mine with corn, potatoes and green beans. My husband, who is not a soup lover... loved it. It was so good, I bought a turkey, just to make soup again!

I couldn't stop eating this soup, it is sooo yummy. I had no leftover vegetables, so I threw in a bag of mixed frozen veggies toward the end and cooked for about 10 minutes longer. I also don't like sweet potato but had some leftover mashed potatoes which I added at the very end. Delicious!!
