good recipe but definitely take a LOT longer to bake than recipe calls for. after 20 minutes they were barely brown and i have a new oven that has been working great for other meals. i need to try other reviewers suggestions of broiling to crisp them up next time i try the recipe.

I will have to try this recipe again. I had the same issues as some other reviewers - boiled too long, took longer to brown, ended up turning on the broiler. Who doesn't like French Fries, our family included? Now I have a real alternative to the frozen packaged fries.

Very good and easy to make. After they had baked and got brown when I added the cheese I also sprinkled a bit with garlic powder and smoked paprika. Will definitely make again.

Delicious recipe and we will make them again. A healthful, tasty alternative to deep-fried french fries. Be mindful of "medium boil" if they are boiled too hard they start to fall apart. Also, ended up baking them at 450 degrees as suggested in another review, then broiling them. Seemed to take a long time to brown.

delicious but took a lot longer than 20 min to bake in oven. they were still on the limp side so I raised temp to 425 for 10min , they just started to get crispy, baked for another 15 min before putting the cheese on and then left in over at 425 for another 12 min...

I'm not the "cook" in my household, but decided to try these one night for a side with dinner that I was making. I had overcooked them a bit during the boiling phase, but didn't worry about it. It did take longer to bake them than I thought. That didn't matter either because everyone loved them! I've made them several times since (and have factored in the extended cooking time and each time I make them a bit different. I change up the seasoning to go with the main course. They are so good with a little cheyenne pepper and some garlic and herb seasoning! Have fun with these and put whatever seasoning on them you want. I'm learning that you don't have to follow a recipe to a T for it to taste good.

Wow!...what an excellent fry recipe this is....my family LOVED these with dinner tonight! I boiled my potatoes for 5 minutes and then tossed them with garlic sea salt and rainbow cracked peppercorns and the olive oil. Then I put them on a sprayed cookie sheet and baked them at 450 for 23 minutes....I sprinkled then liberally with fresh parmesan and broiled then for 3 minutes. They were so golden and YUMMY! Awesome recipe that I will make again and again. These disappeared so quickly and my teens where asking for more...lol...so, the only thing I can suggest is to double this recipe right off the bat!
