Cutting them was easy, I have a very good quality knife, they kept their shape well. They are definitely best served cold. I had them on a buffet table for my husbands birthday. When the party started, they were great, but as the night went on, they went mushy. They were a hit, everyone liked them :
I think I would want to roll the log in nuts next time, then refrigerate. It wasn't nutty enough for me.

These cookies tasted fantastic however the slicing definately didn't work. They came out in pieces and were very messy to eat as they melted in your hands. You could definately taste the amaretto though, yum!
