Finally made this after saving the recipe. SO GOOD! Perfect combination of some sweet, salty and heat. Okay, so I put it on rolls because I forgot the radicchio, but this is a full on winner. I think next time (and I will make this again I'll cook the eggplant first, put it aside, and then cook the rest of the ingredients as stated in that 1 pan. I'm a lazy cook so I think I can easily get away with only needed to clean 1 pan.

I've been making this ever since I first saw the episode. Being Italian I grew up eating Caponata but the use of the Radicchio cups is brilliant.

    Thanks for a great recipe!

I made this last night as an appetizer and my guests loved it. A little too much chilli flakes for my liking so I would cut down on that . I couldn't find this lettuce so I just used crackers but I think if I had the lettuce, it would have helped cool the palate a wee bit.

A keeper! East to make and something different to offer!

These were great! The flavor is wondeful and just the right amount of heat from the pepper flakes. A great appitizer for any occasion!

This was very good. A little spicy for my guests, I might put half the amount of red pepper flakes next time.

I made this for a party. My guests cleaned the platter... Lucky for me, I had a backup second platter chilling. Easy to do and a "different" appetizer.

There are a few steps for this, however, the result is absolutely worth it. It was delicious. I had 10 people over and everyone wanted the recipe!

I've been hoping to make this recipe since Michael made it on TV a couple weeks ago. The sauteing of the eggplant takes a while, and I didn't have anchovies in the house, but it still tastes pretty good. I'm going to serve it tomorrow on grilled bread. A nice summer appetizer......

Got invited to a party, but I was not sure if we are going to have chips & dips, or if there is going to be "actual cooked food" involved.

So I made this and brought it to the party and received many great compliments. Yum...
