I made this dish for Chistmas dinner. Pears were wonderful and the cream was good but the recipe made too much. 1/2 the amount needed. I served it along side the dish rather than stuffed. Excellent flavors however...

Very easy recipe though, next time I would not add the butter to the sauce as when it cools down the fat from the butter sits on the surface, not very attractive or pallatable! Delicious combination of flavours. My boyfriend was crazy about the fragrance of the sauce!
