This is a nice refreshing salad and a great California wine country dish from Michael Chiarello.

If you like salami, you can't dislike this dish with those fresh tomatoes and mozarella chunks. Yum. And the fresh basil.

Just make sure you or your guests like salami before making this dish. My mother doesn't and she only took a few bites.

I just loved this salad. I added fresh baby spinach instead of the basil as my store was out. I've made this at least 5 times already this spring. I also used grape tomatoes. I'm the only one that eats it but i do keep it fresh for a couple of days. Just love it.

I followed the viewers suggestion of adding lettuce to this dish (I used romaine and also added Mostaciolli pasta. This was a delicious and tasty meal.

I loved this dish. I would not categorize it as a "main entree" though. I used balsamic vinegar and added 1/4 cup of sliced red onion. It was awesome! Tip: fresh mozzarella balls make it even easier. I just added the entire 8oz container.

This is quick and easy to make, and tastes great! I will definitely make it again! I used chunks of regular mozzarella rather than fresh because my family likes that better.

This is a perfect salad for the summertime. It's very refreshing and keeps well. I used balsamic vinegar instead of regular vinegar, which turned out great.
