    I made it with bacon and added corn, and my family loved it. I love that that the sauce was creamy and didn't have to add heavy cream to it. Great Recipe! Thanks Michael!

    Maybe with some tweaking it would be better. Not a fan of Banchetta, guess that's why. Just did not think it was as great as others thought it was.

    This recipe was very easy to make and quite tasty. I used bacon instead of pancetta and it was equally delicious!

    Sorry Michael...we just didn't think this was very exciting. Perhaps the pancetta makes the dish, and since we're vegetarians it was the only thing I omitted. I thought the tomato puree was too overwhelming for the delicate taste of the onions. I'm not sure what value the red wine vinegar added either. I think the pecorino really gave the dish the punch it needed. I used bucatini which I adore, and noticed that the longer it sat in the sauce the better the flavor. Maybe that's the trick. Anyway, I've got some leftovers that I'll try today.

    This was so delish! We will definitely be making it again soon. Bucatini is a bit hard to find, so when I find it I definitely stock up.
