Wanted something fruity and elegant. This drink delivered! It's not only delicious but it is beautiful when presented. This Sangria is the best I've had and will definitely make it again!

My husband and I went to my gynecologist house one night for dinner and he served this wonderful Sangria to us! It was so delicious! He printed out the recipe for me and I have been serving it often to my dinner guests. Guests after guests ask me for the recipe before they leave my home. I have altered the recipe and instead of just adding 1 pint of raspberries I add 1 pint of mixed berries, (raspberries, blueberries and blackberries. I add all the fruit with the brandy and orange liqueur and let it sit in the refrigerator until serving time. I purchase the Asti Spumante Sparkling Wine and right before I serve I add the bubbly! OMG it is delicious! This recipe is a keeper. It doesn?t matter how much I make there is never enough to keep the party going! Great recipe!!!

Great cocktail for the beginning or the end of a meal with dessert! Everyone enjoyed it in the party and was disappointed I hadn't made more....

After reding all the comments I decided to serve this at my husbands birthday party. I have a clear glass decanter with a spout and wanted something pretty to put in it. My husband told me no one would drink it! Boy was he WRONG!!! All his buddies raved about it...not one beer was used! Another reader said she used inexpensive cognac so I gave that a try. I used Salignac Cognac ($20 a bottle and Drambuie. I found sparkling wine for 4.99 a bottle at the grocery store and got 3 bottles of that. I floated lemon, lime, and orange slices and threw in a pint of rasberries. I also froze some seedless green grapes and put those in with some ice. Since people couldn't get to the fruit floating in the decanter I used 5" wooden picks and put a strawberry, wedge of orange and a green grape on each pick and had those available by the glasses. The whole thing looked pretty impressive. I ran out within the first 30 min! Thankfully I had a couple bottles of cold champagne in the fridge and made the 2nd with that! It was alot stronger with just 2 bottles but had a smooth kick! Try it you'll love it!!!!

Served this 4th of July. It was great. It looked pretty and tasted smooth and refreshing. Couldn't have been easier to make. For second batch I used inexpensive cognac instead of brandy. It tasted smoother. Also used extra dry sparkling wine. Several people have asked me for the recipe. This is a keeper!

My guests could not get enough of this! I used half the brandy and orange liquor that the recipe calls for, but everyone still loved it. Great choice of fruit. The whole thing is just very refreshing.

I received rave reviews on this punch. I also added some white wine sangria mix from Wilsom Sonoma.

Simple and easy. It's sangria so it's easy enough, and when I had to make more i just added the rest of the mixers. I left out the sugar on the second batch, but no one noticed.

It's so easy to make. You don't need a lot of different ingrediates and it's a simple refreshing taste. I love it and so do my friends.
