Love the taste when I tweaked toward spice. They are not easy to get right, though and a little messy to make. The key is patience, so it was a good lesson for me. :

The nuts were a bit soggy after frying and draining. I also added more cayenne, as I could barely feel the heat. I baked them in the oven for 20 minutes at 350.
Next time, I'm going to coat them with oil, then the sugar, add the spice and slow roast them in the oven for a couple hours. We'll see what happens!

As a college student who's only claim is to baking, it took me little time to make these spiced nuts and they turned out delicious. My whole family enjoyed them so much, I am in need of making more!

They didn't stay crunchy, and were more of a pain than anything.

Slightly sweet with a bit of a kick as an aftertaste.

These were a soggy mess when I tried to fry them. Yes, I checked the temperature of the oil. I ended up roasting them on a greased cookie sheet for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees and they were great.

These looked so good on the show so I made two batches. The cayenne pepper is too overpowering. Didn't like at all.

This is a good recipe and I like the turn out but my whole house was very smokey. I had to open the windows and turn several fans on.

Very easy; recipe is precise. I found that more spices were needed, esp. sweet ones.
