I have made these the past 2 years in a row. I love them and everyone raves about them. I get asked to make them all the time!

The oil was 350 degrees as requested. If I were to leave the walnuts in the oil for 45 seconds, they would have burned black. I recommend using a deep fryer if you have one and that way you can pull them all out at once instead of fishing for walnuts before they burn. My house was full of smoke and I hadn't friend a quarter of the nuts yet. The spice mix could use some nutmeg or something a bit more flavorful. These really did not agree with me.

Don't make this, don't serve this to your guests. They were awful! I'm a very seasoned cook and had no problem making them, but the ingredients are whack and just don't go together! They taste awful. I served at a party and most people left them on their plate. So i have $10 worth of walnuts in my trash!

These nuts are wonderful but a little more difficult to make than it might seem. Heat the oil to 350 and use a metal strainer to put the nuts in the oil. This makes it much easier to get them back out and they all cook evenly. With a little trial and error I finally got it!

I wanted to include something additional in my Christmas cookie baskets for friends and neighbors. This was the perfect choice. Very easy to make and I urge you to make a double batch because your family will consume them before you get the baskets put together. And they add a great texture addition to any salad!
Thanks Michael!

I made these last year to give as gifts for my neighbors. Wow! They were so yummy! Chef hubby said that he got whatever fell out of the jars. (I caught him tossing some out of the jars!! I'll be making much more of these this year!

So easy to make, and tastes so good. Everyone loved them and they work great as toppings on green salads and as additions to fruit salads.

These nuts are so easy to make...and they taste wonderful. Just sweet enough without being sugary and just slightly spicy (unless YOU want them spicier. They store well too!

It is somewhat stressful frying these guys...be careful not to burn!
