I love this recipe. It is easy, loaded with amazing flavor and low in sugar. I have to make a special gift basket this week and these preserves will be included. I have been making them since I saw Michael prepare them on his show.

You really cannot compare a store-bought jam to the sweet, right-from-the-garden taste of fresh preserves. This is a quick and easy recipe, great for a brunch or just keeping on hand in your fridge for when you want a great PB&J sandwich. I also modified the recipe a bit using other berries.

The gelatin was left out, I don't know if anything else was or not.

I love this recipe. The rosemary adds a great flavor to the strawberries.

This recipe is not too bad...I was skeptical of the pepper and rosemary in it, but it was quite good. I would use the juice of a small lemon, though, otherwise it gets a little too tart.

Most recipes for preserves call for a large amount of sugar, which produces a spread that is much too sweet for my tastes. This recipe actually focuses on the flavor of the strawberries, and the lemon juice and rosemary are great complements. I'd recommend increasing the amount of pepper to 1 tsp for a spicy kick. The best part about this recipe is that it lets you have fresh preserves on the table in 30 minutes. Of course, these preserves should not be canned or jarred because of the reduced sugar content. I usually prefer to make a small of preserves that can be refrigerated for a week or two, so this recipe is perfect. Thanks!

Nice twist on Strawberry preserves. Liked the combination of the lemon and rosemary with the sweet.
