Excellent burger, I roasted 2 garlic heads, just separated the garlic into, took off the skin and put it in a little oil, and in the oven for about 25 minutes in the garlic roaster, and put the cloves thru a garlic press, simple. I am not sure that the recipe really needs a POUND of garlic, I think this is a mistake or misprint. Also, I would put more cheese, these were yummy. Served the burger on a french bread, and they were excellent..... cooked on stovetop grill pan and will make these again.

Saw the recipe over a year ago on the show; finally tried it for Memorial Day Weekend and they were a hit. THe Garlic flavor really infuses into the meat, and the melty spot of Blue Cheese in the center is fantastic.

I altered the recipe a little, made it thinner and did not stuff the meat with it. It was more of a gravy. It was so good I could not stop testing it, : . Going to use it again tonight!

Wow, this was an excellent burger. I think i may have made them too big, or maybe stuffed too much garlic and cheese inside-didn't use exact measurements. So they kinda exploded a bit and some of the cheese leaked out, but what a juicy yummy combo of blue cheese and roasted garlic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Garlic cooked this way is quite bitter. Far better to bake the garlic in its skin. Also, this recipe calls for way too much garlic. Need about 1/3 of the amount called for. Instead of making a small hole, spred the garlic paste and blue cheese over a 3oz. patty and top with another patty & seal. Better technique makes this burger okay. As is, I would not make again.

Shame of the guy who used bottled garlic; just smash it,remove the skin and chop..easy! But the burger is so good I guess it just doesn't matter that much.
