I made this stew and can easily say its the best I have ever made, I did have to cook it for much longer than the recipe calls for.

I made this recipe a few months back and dug out the recipe to make it again recently. My family loved this. This is time consuming, but worth the extra effort. Fresh rosemary is a must.

The dish was good in the end but you have to cook it longer then suggested. The veggies are under cooked and need alot more time to soften up.

Apparently the other reviewers let this recipe cook for longer than suggested, because if you follow the recipe to the letter, the potatoes and carrots are undercooked and the sauce barely thickens at all

This is a FANTASTIC stew!!! My boyfriend absolutely LOVED it. I cooked it a little longer and with the cover off for some of it.

We had friends over for dinner Saturday night, to raid the wine cellar and I made this dish. It turned out wonderful, and it was fairly easy to do. Paired great w/ all 6 wines but especially w/ the 95 bordeauxs, 96 Balmoral, and 98 Chat du Pape. Thanks for a Great Recipe!
