    Like Susan from Morton, IL, I can't understand the low ratings these people give! This is one of the easiest dishes to prepare. I have made this many times to rave reviews! To add something different, put out grated parmesan cheese and seasoned Italian breadcrumbs to dredge the bites!

    I made a double batch for a large group for an after dinner birthday party. I tasted one when I put them out. When I went back a little later, they were almost all gone except the compliments. I cannot imagine what recipe these low star people were preparing.

    I made this recipe exactly as written. Why it received 5 stars is beyond me. I wouldn't feed it to a dog. What a waste of good sausage.
