Great way to enjoy tomatoes and potatoes! Don't understand why someone rates a recipe yet did not make the recipe as written. All I added to the list was a sprinkling of chives. Good, basic side.

Left the tomatoes out and used balsamic rather than red wine. I also grated the red onion rather than chopping it because I do not like to bite into raw onions in something. Had good flavor but needed something more. I'm going to add some grated garlic next time and go from there.

I saw this recipe and thought it sounded like a strange combo but decided to try it anyway since I was looking for something a little different. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how good it is! It is the perfect combo of good potato salad with the summer freshness of tomatoes. And my husband, who always takes leftovers for lunch, said he enjoyed just as much if not more the next day once the flavors had a chance to meld even more.

I made this recipe last night. MY family LOVED LOVED LOVED it!! Im not one to follow a recipe 100%, but I did follow the directions. I added probaby 2-3 table spoons of red wine vinegar to the hot pots, and thought that a half cup of olive oil was just TOO much!, so I used only part. I loved the cunch of the red oinion so added 3/4 cups to the dish. I have no idea what some of the reviewers are talking about when they use canned tomatoes?? fresh is best. didnt have reg grey poupon but I had grey poupon with horseradish and it was just fabulous!!!!

What a refreshing tasting salad it wasn't heavy tasting and a very good side, I used cherry tomatoes cut in half and it worked beautifully. Its become a real favorite of mine.

this is a great summertime salad, but i missed the 'zing' that i was expecting. i think this would be much improved with some garlic and either poblanos or tabasco.

The potato salad has a wonderful taste. The recipe called for "diced" tomatoes. I used ripe tomatoes and diced too small which resulted in a too liquid coating. Next time, I will chop more coarsely and use less ripe tomatoes. Otherwise, very unusual recipe that was a big hit.

I made this salad and took it to the lake. My friends loved it. I used dill instead of tarragon and canned diced tomatoes because it was quick! I'm making it tonight. Thanks

My only concern was with left-overs the tomatoes made the salad a little soggy.
