If there was a rating lower than 1-star that is what I would give this NASTY TASTING RECIPE. Did anyone actually REVIEW the ingredient list before posting it? There seems to be something seriously missing. We followed the recipe EXACTLY (measurements, etc and it had to be the worst drink ever.

Not all margaritas are the watered-down version of an authentic Mexican treat at your local Chili's. These were strong, good, and made the perfect drink for our backyard party. Our tip is to use a very ripe melon and ball it only when ready to use. That preserves the rich flavor of the melon.

Oops.... perhaps I should have read chef's method. My review below was for blended watermelon margartias, in a blender. Actually merely placing the watermelon cubes into the glass is the problem here. Sounds awful without even trying it! LOL

The alcohol was expensive, the taste was way to strong, it did not taste like a "margarita", the watermelon (which was beautifully ripe was overpowered by the alcohol. I wished I had listened to the first review, so now you have two, beware!

These were too strong, and I should have realized based on the ingredients. Was more like a martini than a margarita.
