I made this for my friend the brussels sprouts hater, and she was picking them out of the bowl! Better yet, she's making this salad for her family's Christmas dinner (and so am I! Excellent recipe, and very easy to prepare ahead. I used a local bakery's asiago bread, very cheesy, for the croutons so didn't need much extra Parmesan. Go on, try it!

Finally tried this last night and loved it. I am still amazed at how tasty this salad was. Super blend of flavors and textures, easy to prepare. I will definitely make this again.

This dish is absolutely delicious! Made it for Christmas dinner in lieu of stuffing(several people don't like stuffing. It was easy (but takes some time, with an amazing result. Make the croutons and the butternut the day before, and its simple to put together. Don't leave out the onions, "blooming" them in vinegar really works, and the dish needs the color and added bite.

I would never have put these ingredients together on my own...but this is a wonderful salad. I will make it again and again.

    This was just spot-on.
I made it for my mom and myself as a main dish and we put the leftovers in baggies in the fridge... and then ate it cold later that evening.

    Wonderful.

The blend of flavors in this recipe is to die for! I do not like brussels sprouts at least I didn't until I tasted this. It will be in my top 10 for originality, taste and presentation. Scrumptious!

My friend made this for me this week. It is really looks pretty on a colored plate. As well, for people that don't like brussle sprouts good way to get in veggies that you don't eat. It really was a wonderful dish.
