I used a red zinfindel (I see some people used a white. It was delicious! I prepared it the night before and I think spending that time in the refrigerator made the flavors even better. I know it is supposed to be a sin-less dessert but I made a lemon pound cake, sliced it, grilled it and topped it with the peaches and yogurt. I can't wait to make this again!

My mother tried this without knowing what it was called and said, "this tastes sinful" and I told her it was actually sinless! This is a great recipe and as an added bonus the house smells lovely of white zin after making it.

I couldn't wish for a better recipe. easy to make and nothing goes wrong. I chose very hard peaches and simmered for about 12-13 min. Just had to make the sauce a bit thicker and simmer more.thank you. An A+++++ dessret.

Boy-oh-boy! When I first saw this recipe on TV, I wasn't sure how the wine and yogurt, plus poaching the peach in the wine first, was going to taste like. Most desserts that do incorporate wine have been o.k., but not WOW!
Soooooooooo, unbelievably EASY!!! One day ahead or made the same day, both taste like heaven. And if you can't find the spice (like me, at least the first time, don't worry. It's just as great without it. (I used the Danon vanilla yogurt. The flavours are amazing, and will please anyone who doesn't have a love for sweets, and for the ones who do. (For wine, I chose a bottle of Ernest & Julio Gallo Zinfandel. There are different types, so read the bottle what kind of flavours to expect from the wine your choosing. I chose a zinfandel that had hints of strawberry and white peaches. Cheap wine, tastes great!
