    This was PERFECT! I did this for Christmas lunch/dinner and it was awesome. I added thyme springs to the rosemary (becauase I'm a thyme fiend and it was great. The beef ribs used as the baking rack were my "chef's treat" before dinner, and I thought that the ribs were worth all the prep and cooking alone. My six-year-old daughter ate one rib and then ate a quarter of her body weight in the meat. She endured the resulting meat-sweats and food coma without complaint.

    I will defintely make this a new tradition! I'm also going to try to make it a Sunday tradition, but my domestic supervisor (wife might consider that overly decadent...

    This is the absolute BEST recipe for prime rib. The rosemary adds such a lovely flavor to the cut of meat. Made this for Christmas yesterday. Rave reviews and I was told that I am officially hosting Christmas dinner every year from now on! I really enjoy the recipes that Michael Symon creates - delicious, approachable, and a real wow when it comes to the table. Thanks!

    This was outstanding! Made this prime rib today for Christmas dinner and it was by far the best I've ever had, not to mention easy!!! Well Done Michael Symon!!

    rock on symon great recipe. i cooked the prime rib exactly as your recipe says.this was done for a pre christmas celebration amongs members of my biker club. ""WOW"" when everything was said and done people wanted more it was deliciously tasty cooked to perfection medium rare.am thinking of cooking several for my immediate family during this christmass holiday season. thank you merry christmas and thank you for such great recipe by an iron chef. rick bauza
