Ingredients

  • Lime juice
  • Kosher salt
  • Ice cubes
  • Hot sauce, optional
  • Worcestershire sauce, optional
  • 4 Mexican beers, very cold
  • Lime wedges, for garnish

Directions

Place lime juice in a small bowl and salt on a small plate. Dip the rims of beer mugs or Pilsner-style glasses in the lime juice then dip in the salt.

Fill the glasses with ice and add a few dashes of hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce, if desired. Fill with beer and garnish each glass with lime wedge.

    This is very good but do agree that it is also good with clamato juice. This is the Dallas style Michelada - the rest of Texas likes it with the juice or not!

    Love Bobby, but there is an important ingredient missing... Clamato juice (tomato juice and clam juice. This is one of the main ingredients in a Michelada (mexican bloody mary w/beer. If you want an awesome Michelada Mix go to www.Habagallo.com, their mix is awesome.

    Even if you don't like beer, you should give this a try. It is delicious! Very refreshing. The taste combination is great.
