This was awesome. I've never had stroganoff before so I don't have anything to compare it to. BUt we will make it again. The only thing I will change is reduce the butter, it had a little greasy after taste. But it was still too good!! The kid and I don't typically even eat mushrooms but we loved them in this.

I had my girl friends over for dinner last night and made this recipe. All I can say is Oh My God!!! All of my guests had a 2nd helping. Completely delicious and simple to make. Since my friends were coming over on Wednesday, I prepared it on Tuesday night and slow cooked the meat in the sauce in my iron pot for about 3 hours. The meat was so tender is was falling apart in pieces. Will definitely make this recipe again.

We had no sour cream nor cream. We used Fage 0% Greek yogurt instead, Added an ounce of milk and an ounce of Martinelli's apple juice.

This is sooo good. The first time I made this the dill was too strong a flavor. I do not use the dill anymore. I also use non fat half n half in place of the heavy cream and light sour cream--if you're trying to cut back the fat. To avoid lumps in the sauce from the flour I also mix the flour into the sour cream before adding it to the broth mixture.

This was really good. I used sirloin and it came out great. I had it for lunch the next day and it was even better.

I also used 1/2 greek yogurt, 1/2 sour cream and left over prime rib. All worked!

Made this for dinner last night. It was delicioius! My husband usually doesn't care for stroganoff because I have always made it with red wine. He loved this one and went back for seconds. Easy and quick with a little advance preparation. I highly recommend this recipe.

used veal stew meat...added bay leaf, thyme and flat leaf parsley. used all sour cream since didn't have cream. also added a bit of port. also added chopped shallots and fresh garlic. made extra sauce because we like more sauce than meat. it was yummy and will make it again.

EASY and DELICIOUS! This receipe was so easy to make! I used half and half in lieu of heavy cream and light sour cream instead of full-fat. I also used thyme instead of the other herbs noted since that's what I had on hand and the flavor was excellent with this beefy, dijon-ey stroganoff. This reciepe is going to be a fall/winter must-have in my house!
