The comments on this dish are all over the place! I did double the broth, Dijon, heavy cream, sour cream and flour, as well as adding 2 fat garlic cloves, pressed. I used ground sirloin (yes, I know and did add the dill even though I invariably omit this herb as it usually overpowers everything in its path. PDG! And for a ground beef dish, it was unusually good. If you double the broth, as I did, watch the amount of salt you add later. Will definitely be making this again as it fits the bill for easy, tasty and (with burger frugal.

I just finished making this dish and was pretty pleased. Unfortunatly I can't afford to use filet mignon so I used tri tip and it worked out just as good. I doubled the sauce recipe and omitted the sourcream and just used 1/2 and 1/2 that was slightly sour but not curdled. I know it sounds wierd but it worked out great. The only thing I would suggest is to half the dijon mustard in this recipe, it leaves a slightly strange flavor. I also used a splash of wosterschire sauce. So like I said it's a good base recipe but feel free to experiment with it. You really can't go wrong :

This not only is the best beef stroganoff I've ever had, but incredibly easy to make! If you're trying to save some money, you can use stew meat and it comes out fine. However, it really does taste much better if filet mignon is used. As others have said, the amounts in the recipe don't make much sauce, so I'd recommend doubling the amounts of broth and cream to make more sauce. The dill and parsley are optional but do add more flavor.

Good! I did not have heavy cream so i used Half and Half and it turned out fine. I agree with the salt comment. I would maybe salt and pepper the steak tips when you are searing them.

I had to add a good amount of salt but it came out very yummy. I should have read other people's suggestions about doubling the sauce because I was adding more broth and cream at the end.

Outstanding recipe. I followed other reviewers advice and doubled the sauce but not the mustard, I used venison and I used thyme instead of dill (I didn't have any on hand. It turned out great and my family loved it. I can't wait to eat the leftovers.

This is a wonderful recipe. I loved, loved, loved it. Unfortunately my husband hate, hate, hated it. But I just think he doesn't like Beef Stroganoff in general. Anyway, I took some reviewer's suggestions and added 1 clove minced garlic and doubled the sauce. It was amazing and so delicious. I used two filet mignon I had in the freezer and they were really tender. As much as I loved it I don't suppose I'll be making it again due to hubby's taste buds. I can highly recommend this recipe to anybody.

I made this with ground turkey instead of beef, and used fat free half & half and nonfat Greek style yogurt instead of heavy cream and sour cream. I also used grainy mustard because it was all I had on hand. It turned out FANTASTIC! My husband loved it, and the kids added some shredded cheddar cheese to theirs to make it like a healthy version of "Hamburger Helper." A great comfort food without the guilt. This is a recipe we will definitely make again and again!!

My husband told me I could make this one again next week. He LOVED it! I thought it was good but not as good as he thought. He ate left overs for 3 days and he doesn't usually eat leftovers. It was easy to prepare and that's what i liked about it.

Meat was very tender and it was just a great recipe. I only put 1 table spoon of dill though (2 was 2 much and my family loved it.
