We loved this recipe! I also rubbed down the ribs with the magic dust and let them sit in the fridge all day. I then grilled them and brushed them down with the Apple City Barbeque Sauce which has an amazing flavor all in its own. I then transferred the ribs to the oven and let them slow cook for a couple of hours. The flavor of the ribs just kept us coming back for more! Next time I will try it with pork ribs but I will make the rub and the sauce again. Absolutely Delicious!

Wow, I am really going against the popular opinion. I was annoyed that the ingredients called for apple juice in a spray bottle and then never mentioned that process in the directions. The magic dust in combination with the sauces was too much. I think the ingredient list could be cut down and still achieve the same results. 2 tsp grated green bell pepper...really? In all of that sauce who is going to be able to pick out the green bell pepper (even though I put it in there.

Made these for dinner tonight. Prepped them with Mike's rub and let sit overnight. I did use bottled sauce, Sweet Baby Rays. The spice and sweet were a great compliment and the family loved them!! This is definetly a new favorite!!!

I have no doubt from other reviews on the web that Mike's rib rub is good. However, I think he is blowing smoke (no pun intended when he lists the ingredients for his magic dust rub. He advertises his rub as having 18 different spices. You will notice from the recipe that only 9 are listed. Enough said.

These sound really yummy, and I can hardly wait to try them. I am giving them a five rating out of anticipation. After reading the recipe I am salivating.

One question; I did not see the show on tv. What is the spray bottle of juice for? My guess is just to spray the ribs as they cook on the grill, is that right?

I've tried this with Buffalo ribs that I've marinated in apple juice and bourbon for 8 hrs . Coated with the Magic Dust for another 8hrs before cooking . Well worth the prep time . With friends and family that have had this , we're expected to cook this on a regular basis

I keep coming back to this recipe to for beef ribs, so figured I could at least give it a rating. = Haven't had rice vinegar and found subbing apple cider vinegar worked just fine. also, didn't use apples in the past either and this was still a great recipe.

Had company for a BBQ and wanted to try something different. This recipe was the best. I made more for this weekend so I could have extra. My cousin couldn't stop eating the ribs. Thanks

This is the 4th time I make the rub, it's simply amazing on every type of meat. The sauce is good but a little too sweet for my taste, we like it a little bit more spicy so I added a little bit more kick. But overall, this recipe is a keeper.
