I love Bobby's recipes-- own all his books-- but hated this sauce for the shrimp. After using two full cubes of butter and lime juice, threw the whole thing away. Very weird taste with the hot sauce and all the other tastes.
Re-did the sauce with butter, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, fresh thyme and a littl bit of dried basil & oregano. Tasted much better. Is there a chance that the original sauce used lemon not limes???

This recipe was so good and very easy. If anyone is wondering, mine did not turn out real spicy following the recipe.

I loved this receipe...easy to dump all the ingredients into a pot for a great sauce for the shrimp. The thyme and lemon juice really make this great...the lemon juice cuts the heat of the hot sauce so you can add lots of heat. Bobby you should marry that girl if you haven't already!

This takes about 15 min start to finish. It's wonderful and my hubby says " make this again! "
