I had mulled cider at a party last year and searched until I found this one to see if I could remake it. This one was the better. It was simple and tasted very good. If I could give it more stars I would. I recommend straining and taking the orange rinds, cloves, and cinnamon stick out after cooking. The taste changed from leaving them in for so long simmering and don't simmer longer than the recommended time. I have a small family and the cider was warmed up serveral times. I just will add new oranges slices after I reheat in microwave.

I made this cider to go with Christmas dinner, and it was fantastic. I added in a few grates of whole nutmeg, and had even my younger brother asking for seconds! I would definately recommend this recipe to others, and I look forward to making it again! :-

I had never tried mulled cider before and was pleasantly surprised. This recipe is easy and good for holiday usage. I added a bit of rum, but I suppose you could use any kind of alcohol for a more adult beverage.
