The flavor of these scones are awesome. However, I do not like the texture of them at all. They are on the bready/cakey side.

These are the best scones I've ever tasted... wonderful! I'm not a fan of raisins, so I substituted chocolate chips. I also added a tablespoon of fresh orange zest. Great recipe!

I made these for a Christmas tea and they were very well received. I've fussed with other scone recipes before, but this one was simple and came together easily. I substitued dried cranberries for the raisins in keeping with the Christmas theme and they were very tasty.

These scones were so delicious and so easy to make! I made these with heart shaped cookie cutters for a friend's engagement party and they were such a big hit! I made a few different varieties with chocolate chips and hazelnuts and another with toffee chips and almonds! This a such a versatile recipe! It's definately one of my go-to treats!

I had a hard time doing them, maybe we did something wrong, but they looked (and tasted everything BUT scones. I've had no problem with other recipes, I will not try them again, sorry.
