I'm a huge Neely fan because they never steer me wrong. It's absolutely the best blueberry crisp I've ever had. Adding pecans to the topping makes this a real winner. It's easy to prepare too.

A Great Dessert - I think the Pecans gave this Blueberry crisp that extra 1,2 knockout punch. My family really enjoyed this without ice cream or cool whip. I will try a scoop of ice cream next time. They finished it off before I could suggest the extra's.

This received rave reviews from my famiy! It was surprisingly easy to make. Tastes as good, if not better, the next day. I did double the topping. This will definitely become a "go-to" recipe in my collection.

I was out of time to make a blueberry pie to take to a neighbor's dinner party, so I whipped this up instead - they said they liked it better than my blueberry pie! :

Delicious and super easy, i did add more like 1 1/2 to 2 tbsp cornstarch and a closer to a half cup of sugar and it held together very well and sweet but not too sweet. I used a bit more fruit because all i had was a 9x13 pan, i also used inas crumble recipe because its easier and makes a ton, i love topping on my cobblers and it was perfect for the 9x13 pan, will defintley make it again!

Every other reviewer loved this recipe for blueberry crisp. I ended up with oatmeal on top of blueberry goo. What did I do wrong?

I picked some blueberries and didn't have time to make a pie so I was looking for another quick recipe for a dinner party. This was perfect because the topping is fast and I've used similar toppings over apples and peaches before. I didn't have a cornstarch so I used about 1/4 cup of flour. I also increased the sugar as 1/4 cup sounded like too little. I increased the topping by 50% to be sure I had enough, and I never use quick oats for baking, always regular oats. To make a little more special, I made 6 individual "crisps" in 8 oz. ramekins (it's more interesting looking, it doesn't run all over the plate, and people don't expect seconds...and they cook faster. They were done in about 30 mins. I put them in the oven right as we started our first course.
