I made some adjustments to this recipe after reading the other reviews and it turned out soooo delicious! I added more sugar and cornstarch to the blueberries and doubled the recipe for the topping. Make these changes and it will turn out perfect.

I made this crisp for a bbq on Memorial Day. It was easy and very tasty. Everyone loved it. I served it with vanilla ice cream and/or whipped cream. I used regular oats instead of quick cooking, but everything else stayed the same.
    Will make again!

I prepared exactly according to recipe. Added a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and was in heaven. My husband's favorite dessert is blueberry cobbler but he said he likes this better!

I added a little more sugar and cornstarch and doubled the topping and this was the best crisp ever. Very easy.

The crust was great. The blueberries came out to be a little tart than I had expected. I would add a little more sugar to the blueberry mixture. Other than that, it was real good. It tastes even better with icecream. I would suggest making this in the summer, when blueberries are in season.

Next time I will add a little more sugar and decrease cooking time as mine got a little to brown on top. Love the Neelys

I made this according to the recipe, and it was extremely dry. It wasn't sweet enough either. I definitely will not make this again.

This is easiest and most delicious crisp recipe I have tasted in a long time!! The only change I made was using frozen blueberries (you need to add to the cook tmie and I added a tablespoon and a half more butter to the topping. I cut the recipe in half, which was good for the waist, but should have made the entire recipe! It was wonderful!! Definately going in my go-to recipe file.

As much as I dislike the Neeleys..they are just too much for me with the lovey dovey act and the ding a ling spice fairy etc etc..yuck..I really prefer their cookbook over having to sit through the ridiulous act they think is so funny..I know, we are supposed to rate the recipe and nothig else. so excuse my tangent.. The dessert is wonderful..its so delicious that my husband can eat the whole thing in one night, and has done so..There is nothing I would change..Make it, you wont be dissapointed..

I just made this for my family and they LOVED it! I used fresh blueberries, added extra sugar and cornstarch, and doubled the topping. It was perfect! Also, instead of pecans, I used walnuts, and topped it with vanilla ice cream before serving! This was such a simple and delicious recipe, definately give it 5 Stars!
