A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! I was a little worried about all the pecans because I wanted it to be traditional, and I thought apple crisp was usually made with oats not nuts...but, this was sooo delicious!!! All my guests loved it, and I did, too! The best part is that this recipe is easy. I highly recommend it. I used 8 ramekins and had just the right amount.

Really tasty and easy to make. A scoop of vanilla ice cream finishes this one off nicely. I put the apple crisp under the broiler for a few minutes at the end and it came out really golden brown and it crisped up nice and crunchy.

This apple crisp is AWESOME! It is the best apple crisp I have ever had. I think the maple syrup and pecans really take this dessert to the next level.

It's even better paired with French vanilla ice cream. The cold ice cream with the hot crisp is just surreal. Awesome!

Simple and Delicious! I doubled the amount of pecan, and increased brown sugar from 1/3 to 1/2 and it tasted just fine, it was still somewhat sour and dry but I like it like that. Maybe because my apples weren't ripe enough? Great with vanilla ice cream! Thanks Neelys!
