My husband is from N. Carolina and we now live in Ohio, he said this reminded him so much of his Grandma's cooking. My mom also liked this so much she wanted me to quadruple the receipe for Thanksgiving. Try this for sure!!

I love the way that the pecans fit perfectly with the apple. I love the idea of addition of maple syrup, that just made it all the more special. This is the perfect dessert that will have everyone coming back for more. Whew! Love it, keep em' coming!

I made this for my my boyfriend who loves anything to do with apple pie! He loooved the Apple Crisp: and it was simple to make I don't get to watch food network or the show often but I come online for new recipes all the time. If you are making this i would suggest getting one on the apple slicers, that cores the apple and make the ten slices it makes your job a lot easier! Sista Neely just title all you recipes with "get yo man.."

I just made this and it was wonderful! I didn't have lemon juice so I used diet sprite - worked fine! I halved the recipe for my family of 3 and we had 2 ramekins left over.

This recipe was easy to follow and tastes exceptionally good. I just added 1.5 tbs of Kahlua to the apples along with pecans with the apples. Substitued Amaranth flour for the white flour and it was great.

I made this for our family last night and it is absolutely delicious. I didn't have the right size ramekins, so I used a 9x9 pan and it fit perfectly. We picked apples last weekend at an orchard, so I used harolson apples. A perfect amount of sauce cooks out and the topping is absolutely delicious. I only used pecans in the topping. My kids loved it too. This will become a definite family favorite that I will use year after year.
