It was horrible. The syrup in it made it taste like i was eating apple pancakes. Nasty. If you try this recipe try removing syrup and on the topping it took half a cup of brown sugar not a third cup.

This recipe was very easy. Flavor was delicious. I used granny smith apples too, but my apples cooked a little on the mushy side. It still was tasty though. I baked it for 38 minutes.

Put a scoop of "pralines and cream" ice cream on top. Ooooh, yum. Not sure I'll ever bother with apple pie again, this was so good and easy!

I made this dish yesterday and my 3 year old helped me. It was quick and easy. I put it in a cassarole dish instead of ramekins and it came out perfectly. I baked it the full 40 minutes and topped it with vanilla icecream. The pecans and maple syrup make it so good. I will make it again!

I made this today for my sons birthday party and was embarrased by it. The topping was to dry and the filling not gooey enough. I enjoy the neeleys but will not make this again.

PLEASE double the recipe if you are using a 9 X 13 pan. Also, I would not suggest chopping the apples so small....after it cooks, you hardly can find the apples. The next time I make this and use a 9 X 13, I will double or even triple the recipe.

Very tasty! Excellent with vanilla ice cream!

I made this for my family for Easter Brunch and now I MUST make it for every family celebration. I made it in a large casserole and there wasn't a crumb to be found.
