Fantastic! Super decadent so not for those granola munchers looking for a healthy treat, duh, but tastes the way a good southern serving of apple crisp should. I also made it in a pie ramekin and it fit perfectly.

WAAAAAY too sweet, and needs oatmeal. I agree with "Steponme2," below. Also, dried cranberries would be a nice addition to add some flavor and a bit of tart. Hubby took one bite and pushed it aside, complaining of a mouth-full of sugar. I had a small bit of it, then put the rest down the garbage disposal. (It is a bit better warm than cold, however. I won't make it again.

I prefer apple crisp made with an oatmeal crisp topping. I decided to try this one w/o the oatmeal to see if I'd like it just as much; not. The topping is my favorite part of the crisp and I feel it just didn't have any depth without the oatmeal. Also, I think the maple syrup gave it wierd taste.

This is excellent - I didn't make individual ramekins but used a pie pan; and to cut the fat used 3 tablespoons margarine and 3 tablespoons of butter.

This is super easy! I don't claim to be the best dessert maker but everyone raved about how good this was and made me feel like a pro. By request, I'm making this for our Thanksgiving dessert. Love the individual serving size ... Perfect size after a big meal. Followed the recipe exactly and wouldn't change a thing.

Absolutely Wonderful, I am not a cook by far but I made this recipe and my husband thought I was a chef. It was so easy and so good. I would absolutely try the neelys again... Husband response: I had very little expectation of my beautiful wife baking skills, but after this dish, I am so very excited to see her make our next dish.. I am not a big fan of apples, but the topping & apples were perfect together.. Thank you for the wonderful apple crisp, My wife is making your stuffed pork chops right now... GO NEELYS!!!
