This didn't have a great result for me and I'm thinking it was user error. Maybe I didn't mix the topping well enough, because all we tasted was flour. Lots of flour. It sort of killed the recipe. I'll try it again because it was super easy!

Very good had apples that was a little tart in stead of throwing them away I made this and it was very very good Will make it again

Truly unbelievably yummy!!!! I made it for my 4 GENERATIONS, & we all loved it. My grandma kept saying she loved it over & over <she's 95.> I followed the directions to a T, & I will make this again & again! It pairs so perfectly w/ vanilla ice cream. Thanks Neelys! Yet another one of your recipes to put in "My Favorites" cookbook.

I signed up on Food Network just to rate this recipe because it is so so good. I couldn't stay out of it before it even cooled. I am making it for the second time this week. The recipe could use some vanilla, but otherwise it is amazing!

I have tried many different recipes for apple crisp but this one is the absolute best. I followed the recipe as written, not adding or subtracting anything, and it came out perfect. After it cooled, I put it in the fridge to firm up. Later that evening we heated it up and put vanilla ice cream on top. It was the bomb!! Love the Neelys.
