This apple crisp was delicious, next time I am going to also add oats for a different texture and crispyness.

This is a nice recipe that differs from the one we prepare on a regular basis.Tart Apples and a different crumble on top. As tasty as our tried&true.Thank You.

I used Splenda brown sugar instead of regular brown sugar and it came out perfect. I will be making this one again.

Incredibly delicious and super easy to make. I only had Gala apples which I thought would be way too sweet but they worked well. I omitted the pecans and had vanilla powder on hand and used that in the topping instead of cinnamon -- so good. Easily the best apple crisp recipe I've tried.

This apple crisp was the best that I have ever had. I can't believe that anyone would give it anything less than 5 stars. The apple filling was very moist and the topping was very crispy. I loved the pecans in it. What a great flavor they add. I followed the directions to the letter and everyone loved it. I will be using this recipe again and again. Thanks to the Neelys for sharing this wonderful dessert with us.

This was my first Neely recipe and it is a keeper. Trick to keeping it moist - DO NOT OVERBAKE IT! I followed the recipe but added oats to the topping just like my mom did and it was so delicious. I served it with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream for company and seconds were in order! I like having the apples chopped rather than sliced, they cook faster and much easier to spoon up. Very easy and yummy even for company. Thanks Gina & Pat.

This recipe was ok...a little too much lemon for my taste, the lemon overpowered the apples and that was with me adding less than what the recipe called for. The crumb topping was fair...I have had better apple crisp recipes.

Easy to make and the best I have eaten. Next time I will try adding oats to the topping. So I can fool myself into thinking it is good for me. A definite keeper.

This was definitely one of the better apple crisp recipes I've made. I added extra cinnamon too. This recipe is definitely a keeper!
