Made these apples for Christmas breakfast (along with the Sausage and Leek casserole from the same show. I'm not much of an egg eater so I assumed I wouldn't LOVE this as much as the rest of my household...well I was wrong. This was an amazing recipe and good enough for brunch when guests are in town. I served it with the baked apples and when the juice from the apples mingled with the casserole, well, it threw the whole thing over the top.

This is the first time I have loved something so much that I've written a review. The only juice I had was Diet Cranberry-Raspberry and it was still great. My families only complaint was that I only made 4 apples for 4 people. : I needed a second dessert for Christmas and this will be it. Thanks Pat & Gina.

This is a great recipe. I didn't see the temperature, either, so decided to read the reviews. Chose to go with 350. I have cooked for a long time, but never thought about using a melon baller to core the apples. Even my 8 year old could do it (and he did!

Easy to follow recipe and easier to eat- as for temp I used 350 D and thought since ovens are so different we as cooks could decide for ourselves-I will use this recipe again and will try different apples, thereby creating a different wonderful apple- of course with the Neely's ingredients - I love your show and humor -your enuendo is a trip and l love it also (sorry about the incorrect spelling

I really liked the idea of a warm baked apple since it is so cold outside! I put the apples in the oven at 350 for 50 minutes and after 40 minutes the apples had completely split open!! Luckily I was just cooking for my husband and I tonight so it wasn't a big deal. I am just so frustrated with all of these recipes that are incorrectly written and missing important information! did this recipe with honeycrisp apples for my B&B guests and they all but licked the ir plates, people! 50 mins @ 350 worked perfectly, and it's really easy! Recipe is definitely going into my fall rotation.

Bake for 50 min or 1 hour 50 min? Still a good recipe. Personally next time I will omit the cherries.

I made this one and never forgot - as I sometimes do - where the recipe came from - it's that good. I am making again tonight and my family can't wait. Thanks Neelys.
