I tried this recipe prior to Christmas and followed Jodi's recommendation to bake at 350 degrees and this dish came out so yummy ! My guests were so impressed and raved about how tender and juicy the apples were. I personally am not a fan of cherries, however they were delicious in the apples. My ten year old has asked me to make this dish three more times! I love this dish and my 2009 goal is to try more recipes .
    Thank you Neelys.

I baked my apples for Christmas and my kids licked the plate. I loved it! I didn't like the pecans, so I shouldn't have added them. I loved the cherry taste as well. Next time I am going to double my cherries lololo.. LOVED IT!!!!!! Thanks. Mikia

I tried this for Christmas and it turned out wonderful: a favorite among the guest. I will certainly try it again for the New Year. TIt was great with ice cream.
    Thanks Neelys.

I made these to go along with the ham we had with Christmas dinner - these are great and very easy. I had my husband core the apples for me - which was nice and I put in the filling had a little Neely time in the kitchen. I had bought what I thought was apple cider- which was apple cider vinegar - I did not use it so I just put water in the bottom of the pan and they turned out great. I also baked them for 50 minutes on 350 degrees - perfect!

delicious! they will be browned when you take them out of the oven. They will juicy and gooey. Like little individual apple pies, these will melt in your mouth! The pecans and brown sugar is what makes this dish

    Hi Everyone,
I made this tonight and since there was no temp on the recipe I just baked it at 350 for 50 minutes. It turned out great! It was so good! It was like a cross between apple pie and a carmel apple. Hope this helps all of you. Happy Baking!

I, too, would love to make this recipe after reading the reviews, but also did not see what temperature to bake them at anywhere in the recipe.

I love this couple. Their food is comforting and delicious, but more than that, I love how they love each other. One could only hope to have such a wonderful, loving relationship. They truly enjoy each other and that is what I most love about this show. PS The apples and every other recipe I have tried of theirs is delicious.
