    Pat & Gina have some awesome recipes! I think they are fun to watch and are down home good people. This recipe is great keep up the good shows. Jan

    I have not tried this recipe yet but it sounds delicious. You need to lighten up on the Neelys - they are just having a little fun. This world is too serious - have some fun people - it will lower your blood pressure!

    My hubby and I could not believe how simple yet super delicious these shrimp were. I have made them 3 times in the last month. My friends are now demanding I make them these famous BBQ shrimp. You have to try them.

    This looked very good on TV, but I found the outcome a disappointment. I have tried some of their other recipes and liked them very much. I really enjoyed the Neelys when they first appeared on the Paula Dean show, they were very refreshing to watch. I have read some of the other reviews and I don't feel people are being negative, I agree as well. Pat Neely is just down to earth but Gina is too busy trying to "act" and entertain for the camera. This same episode with her and her daughter twisting their behind and yelling "Kick" was just a little over the top for me. I really have no interest in watching the show anymore, she's just too repulsive. Why can't people just cook great food and leave the acting, the cackling and the ya'alls to the actors.

    I think what I didn't like was the clove flavor in the marinade, but I would make it again, omiting the clove. I have tried several recipes, and they've all been good.I personally love their banter, they seem like such a loving couple. Need more of that on TV, not LESS! i think they're adorable!

    I too agree that Gina is offensive. I tried the shrimp recipe and found it a waste of good shrimp. I tried to watch the show but just can't tolerate her. I really enjoy Pat and his brothers - more of them and less of her. I get the recipes from the web site. By the way, my 14 yr son eats most everything I put in front of him. I found her comment rude.

    This shrimp recipe is great! I thought the spices really made the dish special. I have enjoyed every recipe that I have tried from this show. I think they are fabulous for the Food Network. If people don't like them, don't watch!!!!!!!!

    I've tried several of the Neely's recipes and I am impressed with the homemade taste. I don't get all the negative reviews about the love that is shown on the show. What I have to say about that is...IT'S ABOUT TIME! I make sure to watch EVERY show on Saturday! I've told my friends about it and will tape it if I miss it. All I can say is there will always be someone that will say something negative. I love the affection! It's a lot more refreshing than a lot of other stuff that's on television. Keep doing what you're doing!

    This recipe was delicious. I have watched every episode and LOVE Gina, Pat and their family. For all the haters, your negative comments are clearly products of low self-esteem and have a racial undercurrent. If you miserable excuses for humans don't like Gina or the show, go spew your hate somewhere else. I am white and think the Neely's ROCK! GO NEELY'S GO!!
