I served this dish for my family. They loved it! All they kept saying over and over again was how wonderful and fastastic the meal was. I followed the Neely's recipe to a "T". The best compliment I received was "this tastes better than any restaurant has ever made". Thank Pat and Gina!

Try using the cubed pork that is in every meat case, at least here in the southeast. It's even better and usually another buck cheaper per pound. I like to spice this recipe up a tad with a little Weber Gourmet Burger Seasoning or Beer Can Chicken Seasoning. Both, or either is available in most spice racks or I buy it at Sam's Club and use them both liberally on most meats.

The first time I made this, it tasted very bland. So the next time, I used black pepper, paprika and italian seasoning. Much better taste.

I made this tonight and it was easy and very delicious, the meat was very cheap so this will be a go to meal from now on, thanks again to the Nealy's for coming up with another winner

I love The Neelys... what a great show and happy couple. This recipe was pretty good. The cube steak turned out great, but would have liked for the gravy to have more flavor. I doubled the seasonings like everyone else and that helped flavor the breading for frying, but the gravy was just okay. Would like to try this again but use another gravy recipe.

I'm a good old southern girl, so I take chicken fried steak very seriously. I live in NYC, so i decided if i wanted a good authentic chicken fried steak I should probably try to make it myself. I chose this recipe because it wasn't too complicated, and I trust the Neely's southern cooking style! IT WAS DELICIOUS! I doubled the seasoning as per the other reviews' suggestions, and it came out perfectly. My boyfriend loved it too! Thanks Neely's!

This was delicious we made it for New Years and it was great! Really good and crispy, we did double the spices like some people suggested and it turned out great.

My son was just getting home for Christmas break from college. I picked up some cube steak as the price was so cheap and found this recipe - It was such a hit!! I am already making this for the second time since he's been home only I will now have to double it !! I did double paprika and Cayenne and added a little garlic powder and that worked out perfectly. This will definately become a treasured family recipe.
