I LOVE this recipe. Although, after making it several times, I've added a few twists of my own. If you add just a touch of white truffle oil, it makes it just that much more decadent. I also buy fresh collards and blanche them, I feel like the flavor comes through better that way. But seriously, this is one of my all time favorites, I can't thank the 2 of you enough for this! It's made me a hit at numerous parties!

Yes Lord, this is the BEST!!!! I made this using Turnip Greens instead of Collards. It taste soooooo yummy. Taste just like the Spin Dip from TGI Friday! I have made it a few times as a appetizer and my family and friends just love it. Even those that swear they don't eat greens love it :0 lolol

Made this for my brother (who happens to be an excellent cook and he was amazed! Since it passed the "baby" brother inspection, I have decided to make it for a couple of other people (as a gift for game day!

I thought this recipe looked very interesting....Collard Greens...but very similar to a Spinach Dip Recipe I have made many times...but Collard Greens...Yes...Thank Goodness I did my homeowork because it could have been very boring indeed...so BAMN - I kicked it up an whole notch....after reading the reviews.....After I drained my collards...I put them in the food processor and gave them and extra chopping...then when I made the cream sauce I BAMN-ed it up with red pepper, and Tony's Seasoning...and I also sauted extra garlic and scallions...next time add the sliced chestnuts to give it a crunc......now that was delicious and so does everyone else say so ----so Neelly's kick it up a notch...You loyal view....Chief want-ta-be Elaine

I am not a huge fan of collard greens, so I substituted with 2 pkgs. frozen chopped spinach...... drain well. I also kick it up a notch by adding crushed red pepper, and 4 dashes hot sauce. So delicious... Thanks for the Neelys
