This is a very, very tasty fondue recipe if I ever had one! I'm on a fondue kick right now so ive been experimenting with different blends. I had been on the hunt for a great cheddar fondue recipe as I'm not sold on Swiss fondue just yet. This one sounded simple, minimal ingredients, and reasonably priced ones at that. I halved this recipe using 8oz extra sharp Cabot white cheddar 8oz montery jack, about 1 TSB cornstarch, half a Bud Light, 1 clove garlic smashed, seasoned with cayenne, garlic powder, sea salt, worchestershire. Texture was silky creamy throughout, stayed that way the entire time, hugged my dippers perfectly (dipper's; pretzel bread, asparagus, granny Smith apples, brocolli, mushrooms, summer sausage. I love this stuff! Will entertain with this recipe. Thanks Neely's!

I loved this recipe, made it for Christmas day snack, did not add as much garlic or the peppers but it was still very easy and delicious and my family went crazy, served with bread, peppers, mushrooms, sausage, and pretzels... It was a hit. Thank you

I made this recipe without the chipotle peppers, and it was still delicious. Since I left out the chipotle flavor, I decided to add a dash of nutmeg, mustard powder, and cayenne pepper. If you use a tasty beer and quality cheeses, it will not disappoint!

We made this fondue for bread and broccoli dippers. I cut the recipe in half (using 8oz sharp white cheddar and 8oz mont jack. I started out with a half of a beer (Yuengling because it's what we had, but we needed the entire beer to get the texture right. It was very cheesey, and a little stringy, but delicious! We did not have any problems with separation like other fondues, and it was nice to have an affordable fondue option that really tastes good.

I have only made a few fondues in the past because none of the recipes I had were worth repeating. This FONDUE is the VERY best...BETTER than any restaurants fondue. I will definately remake in the future. Made it for me and my hubby for part of our VALENTINE meal....We BOTH LOVED it!!! YUMMY!!!

I have never made a cheese fondue before but this recipe was a must try. There were only four of us so as the fondue would cool in the electic pot we had to stir and add milk to make smooth again but overall very good recipe (be careful in the simmering of beer and peppers, can be over-powering!

I entertained my family with this recipe for a holiday get together. It was a big hit!! I served it as an appetizer and no one had room for the main course. It was SOOOO easy too!
