Simply amazing!!!!! Hey, when are Pat and Gina on tv now? I miss their old time slot and I miss them. They are far more captivating as hosts and as chefs than several of the other ones on tv.

I was excited about trying this recipe since so many other things are fried now like oreos, macaroni, and pickles. However, I was not a big fan of the fried deviled eggs. Maybe it was the lemon that I tasted. I love the Neely's recipes but this one just did not make the cut.

When I saw the Neelys doing this, I had to print out the recipe and make right away. I've made them a few times since and everyone that tried them couldn't get enough.

I made these to take to an Iron Bowl party. The hostess likes deviled eggs so I decided to try something a little different this year. They were so good! I left out the lemon zest and the chopped chives because it just didn't sound good to me. But I did add a few extra dashes of hot sauce : I fried them in vegetable oil and it worked just fine. It was my first time using panko and I really liked the texture. They were served warm and tasted like a fresh egg salad sandwich! My friends suggested a spicy dip for them next time.

We made this recipe and like someone else here stated, we did not like the lemon. However when we made it the next time we omitted the lemon and the panko. We used a tempura batter instead and made this much lighter and brought out the deviled egg more. Thanks for the idea.
