I tried these and loved them. I used part mayo and part Lt. Sour Cream along with a teaspoon of Curry Powder and Cayenne pepper instead of Hot Sauce. I even include relish. Add all this in with the rest of the ingrediants and Wow! I also found out that the egg mixture will hold better if you chill it in the frige up to an hour. The texture is firmer to work with. I will be cooking these again for Thanksgiving. Thank U Neely's.

I thought no one else made these but me, so I had to watch. I do not make mine this way but for those of you that want more flavor, this is how I do mine...
I add grated onion and very fine chopped ham to the filling and I use italian bread crumbs instead of the panko.

Panko are Japanese bread crumbs that are found in the Asian section of the grocery store...next to the soy sauce, etc... Even my small town market has them, so I'm sure you can find them almost in any store across the county. You can just always substitute regular bread crumbs, though. Panko makes a very crunchy coating for fish and chicken, too.

It is better to "stick to the rivers and the lakes that you are use to." I think it is better to stick to the old fashioned way of deviled eggs.
