This was really good...I was a little nervous about the wine because my husband and I don't drink but the taste was great and the wine didn't overpower the dish at all...I love the aroma the sauce gives off while cooking...When my husband came home he said oooh baby it smells like a five star restaurant in here...He loved this dish so much he requested that I make it again next weekend and he made it clear he wanted nothing else but this chicken...I used the Get Yo Man Chicken recipe from the Neely's cookbook which is slightly different, it has honey, red wine vinegar and fresh herbs. I served over hot buttered rice with string beans and cornbread with honey and butter on the side. Delicious

    Thanks Gina

so so so good! we all wanted to drink the sauce with a straw. definitely serve the chicken over the rice and spoon lots and lots of sauce over it. Amazing! i didn't have any rosemary so i used oregano instead which goes super well with thyme, salt, pepper, and parsley. If i weren't already married this definitely would have landed me a man!!

This is my husband's favorite chicken dish and he doesn't usually eat tomatoes.

I made this five years ago and loved it. I made it tonight with my own personal tweaks (I add three cloves of garlic and omit the rosemary and it's still amazing.

This recipe had great flavor. The only thing I did differently is that I used a can of Rotel for tomatoes and that added a nice heat to the recipe. I served this over brown rice and my hubby and I both had two helpings. This recipe is great because most things are already in the pantry its just a matter of putting them all together. I am going to try it over orzo next time like one viewer suggested. Thanks for the great recipe and I love you show!!!

The sauce on this chicken really makes it work. I was skeptical but it really was flavorful. Simple and easy to do. Followed the recipe exactly. This recipe is going to be a staple for me in the kitchen. My husband usually prefers light meat but he is now convinced that the thighs have more flavor. We are now buying organic chicken from a local farmer. Buy organic if you can - it is worth the price. Thanks Gina.

My fiance cooked this for me so now it is "get yo woman chicken"!!!!!! It was absolutely deliciou!. There was no talking at the dinner table only eating. We had a glass of moscato too! We are going to try it with shrimp next time. Neely's keep doing your thing!!!!!!!!

My husband is pure Italian. So I made this as per the recipe, except I added some garlic to the broth. I also substituted rice for orzo and served it with italian bread and olive oil infused with a tuscan herb blend. I thought he was going to marry me all over again! Way to go, this is a fool proof recipe. Thanks!!!
