I have to admit, this was going to be my back up sweet potato dish this year. I was charged with bringing something to dinner this year more challenging than green bean casserole (I do make a good one. I had found another less traditional recipe that I wanted to try, so just in case those did not go over I made these as the back up. Both dishes went over really well, but I had next to no left overs of these. They were awesome and I have been asked to bring them again next year. Best of all, they are so easy! I am making them again tonight for much larger gathering. Thank you Neely's this is not the first recipe that has been a hit!

I was looking for a new recipe and came upon this a few days ago. I made it for Thanksgiving and it was a huge hit! The texture was great and the flavors meshed well with the meal. It wasn't too sweet and you could still taste the natural flavor of the potatoes. So yummy! And oh yeah, I am making these for Christmas too.

I absolutely love this recipe. It's so EASY and to make and simply DELICIOUS! Quick prep time is my style! I used YAMS and a 100% vegan margarine, and it was a big hit! The splash of nutmeg was a perfect combination with the maple syrup and brown sugar. I had some tough critics at the table, and the compliments on this dish were plentiful. The best part is that there's minimal dish washing afterward - gotta love that!!

These were WONDERFUL!! I like sweet potatoes to begin with... but for the past few years i've found that the recipes I had been trying have been WAY too sweet.. with waaaay to much butter, sugar, marshmallows, etc. The glaze brought out the flavor of the sweet potatoes, but wasn't overpowering. They tasted SO much lighter than the ones I've had in years past (and I feel that are more friendly on the waistline!! If you're one of those people that like the really really sweet ones, you would still like these : I used yams instead of sweet potatoes (which I just found out this year that there IS a difference!! I will be making these again...and probably won't wait until next thanksgiving. Can't wait to eat leftovers today : Thanks Neelys!!

We are traditionally NOT a sweet potato family. However I thought I'd try something different this Thanksgiving. WOW!!!! These sweet potatoes were WONDERFUL! The fresh nutmeg was a treat and complimented the flavors of the glaze. In fact I added a bit of extra nutmeg! This is a treat of a dish that makes you want to almost skip desert!

This was a really simple and easy way to prepare sweet potatoes and the result was good, however, they tasted even better the next day after marinating in the glaze overnight. I highly recommend this recipe.

The Neely's Glazed Sweet Potatoes were great. They were so easy to make. The glaze gave them a sweet flavor with out being over powering. The potatoes had a great texture.
