    Made the string beans tonight with a beef strip steak and mashed sweet potoatoes and parsnips. Yummmmmmm :D:D wish I could add picture of my plate.

    Loved this! I really liked the crispness of the green beans, and the flavor of all the butter and garlic. The lemon zest complimented our salmon with lemon juice very well.

    Didn't use the red pepper flakes but was otherwise delicious. Blanching green beans is my new favorite way to cook them.

    These were a hit a Christmas dinner and a great alternative to the heavy green bean casserole. I will definitely make them again.

    These green beans are delicious! I added more zest and a lot of the juice from the lemon because I liked the flavor so much. A few spoonfuls of bacon drippings and YUM! I'm making these again for Christmas dinner and am going to add some new potatoes. And again, lots of zest and lemon juice!
