    These green beans are delicious! I added more zest and a lot of the juice from the lemon because I liked the flavor so much. A few spoonfuls of bacon drippings and YUM! I'm making these again for Christmas dinner and am going to add some new potatoes. And again, lots of zest and lemon juice!

    Very good & easy to make.I'm not really a fan of green beans but I enjoyed these.I didn't add the red pepper because my kids don't like spicy food.

    Made this yesterday for Thanksgiving, on a table full of heavy sides, this was the first to go. Everyone SO appreciated having something light, garlicky and citrusy to contrast the other items. I think this is going to be our new standby recipe for green beans, totally delicious!

    Delicious and very easy!! It was a little too spicy for my 2 year old though. The next time I make it I will cut the red pepper flakes in half.

    I just hate when folks give a bad review because of something that they messed up! Very tasty recipe as far as INGREDIENTS go! Beans not done enough for you, then throw them back in the pot and cook just a bit longer till they're done to your liking, simple as that...

    This was so good. I brought this to a dinner party and everyone LOVED it! I also sprinkled some toasted slivered almonds on top and it was so delicious!
