    This was Wonderful. I made this Last year for Thanksgiving Lunch at work. (Hospital setting. We cook when we work on the Holidays. I prepared the entire dish the night before. But reserved the salt, pepper and lemon zest. When ready to serve-the next day- We warmed the beans coated in the oil/garlic and pepper combination. Then added the Lemon Zest, salt and pepper. It was a hit! This dish is a nice refreshing balance to the Meat and Sweets of Thanksgiving meals. I have made it several times. There is a definate lemon flavor from the Zest- you could cut this by 1/3 and still have a nice dish. I am prepping to make this again for Work Thanksgiving.

    I just love y'all show Mrs.and Mr. Neely and the green beans turned

    We LOVED this recipe for the green beans. We have been trying to find a good recipe for green beans with lemon and this one was perfect. Thanks Patrick and Gina!!!

    Hi Neeleys: My name is Karen, would just like to say I prepared these delicious green beans for my fiance's Birthday Bash on March 13th. We had about 100 guests and the green beans was a smash, a large foil pan full of green beans was gone in about 30 minutes. Remarkable. Kudos to you guys - I love you, love you, love you.

    This was a great and easy side dish to Easter dinner. It had great flavor! The nice thing is you can blanch the beans ahead of time and set them in the pan with the butter/garlic and then saute last minute. Very enjoyable!

    my name is Brooke and I provide assistance and supervision to a young lady named Sonya who loves to cook. We are now working on trying out a variety of new recipes. Sonya has her own computer and has learned how to access one of her favorite cooking shows...yours. So we go on-line at least once a week and look for new recipes. The green beans with lemon and garlic were superb. Sonya not only enjoyed these for dinner, but she also had enough for leftovers for lunch the next day and there were as delicious as the day before.

    Made these for Thanksgiving, and making them for Christmas dinner as well. Even my 8 and 9 year old boys who claim they are 'allergic to vegetables' ate them without complaining. Wonderful, fast, and easy!
