Made for Thanksgiving and the family requested them for Christmas Day. Easy to do. Blanched at home and hauled all the ingredients (separately 1.5 hour away - then threw together on the stove just before serving. Delicious! Even got top ratings as left overs:

This recipe has everything! I made it for thanksgiving dinner and plan on turning this into an everyday vegtable recipe. I will probably reduce the amount of butter so I don't have to run a mile after eating them!

I took these to Thanksgiving dinner at a friend's house. They received great reviews from all of her guests. They have a nice blend of spices with the garlic and red pepper flakes. The lemon zest on top, added the extra touch. The recipe was easy to follow - full proof.

These green beans were the bomb! they were so easy to make, but they tasted like "gourmet" side dish. This will be a constant on my menu. THANKS NEELY'S!!!

I used frozen green beans and it was very good. I can't wait to try this with asparagus.

This is a fabulous receipe! Receipe works even if you only have 1 pd of beans - especially frozen green beans. I used 1 lb and used 2 garlic cloves (and 1/2 the amount of red pepper flakes, added 4 tablespoons of butter, instead of 3...remember...I am using half the beans, and it came out excellent! I didnt have any lemon zest, but the beans came out the best and so tasty! It's great to serve with Michael Chiarello's Italian Meatloaf receipe which you can find on the website. It's easy, quick, and kids will love it too!

This was easy and delicious, I used lime rind and a splash of lime juice, it gave it a real fresh and light taste! I will try to make broccoli like this too..
