I was introduced to greens when I moved to the south. My mother never learned to gook them and so I never did. This dish is Delicious!! Wonderful flavors and refreashing... We had it with seared tuna steaks, great combination!! Almost even better the next day. I could eat this recipe alone for a light meal. It will certainly become a regular at our house.

The only thing I did different is I used 1 bag of the Glory pre-washed Kale which is 1 lb. If you used regular Kale you would probably need 1 1/2 to 2 lbs of kale before you washed it and got rid of some of th stalks. There is no way that 2 cups of kale would be enough. Thanks Neelys for another good recipe.

Skeptical at first we tried greens & beans after viewing the show. Especially odd because we're not fond of either kale or beans. It was delicious! We added Cajun seasonings & fresh ground pepper. Good eating! Love your show because your recipes are so cookable.

I agree with the rest of the reviewers. This is a great vegetable side dish! Just completed cootking it and tasting it, and I was certainly surprise to eat a wonderful vegetable meal. I must admit, I had not eaten Kale, but I saw the recipe and the reviews, and I just had to try it. I most certainly am glad I did.
Keep up the great cooking and the sharing of your recipes. You both are a dynamite couple and I love your show.

I had never used kale before, but had wanted to try it. This was the perfect opportunity. I thought this dish was excellent. The red pepper flakes gave it just enough heat. Yum!

Love this recipe. Quick and easy. Not a big green or bean fan, but love this. I usually add the entire 16 oz can of chicken broth. Better warmed up the next day, if there is any left.

This recipe was quick and easy. If you don't want it too spicy cut down on
the red pepper flakes. You can also make it less moist by putting less
beef broth . Best part it is low on calories!

I was looking for new side dishes and saw the Neeleys cook this recipe. At first I thought the beans were a bit much and the recipe would be even better without them, then I just ate the leftovers and they tasted great. This will definitely be a new side dish in my home.

This recipe is wonderful. I've made this every week since I saw the show. You can mix and match any green with any bean. It is also a definite budget pleaser.
